You mean one and one-half brass pennies ISN'T lucrative!

I've been lied to all these years by work!

Squad numbers for next season. Suggests preferred CBs could be Morgan and Ertl. That would put Nosy at Right Back and a vacancy for LB (although traditionally RB is 2 and LB is 3), or maybe Nosy is LB. 19 players in the first team squad at the moment with two more rumoured to be joining. With Relish and Willo long term injuries, that means a squad of 17 or maybe 19 if we do sign two more. Under the new rules I think we're allowed 25. No number 20 I notice. I guess KB's saving it for my Harry as that's his squad number [bigok]

1 Steve Simonsen
3 Nyron Nosworthy
4 Nick Montgomery
5 Chris Morgan
6 Johnny Ertl
7 Darius Henderson
8 Leon Britton
9 Ched Evans
10 Daniel Bogdanovic
11 Mark Yeates
13 Mihkel Aksalu
14 Lee Williamson
15 Ryan France
16 Andy Taylor
17 Richard Cresswell
18 Jamie Ward
22 Rob Kozluk
28 Stephen Quinn
34 Matthew Lowton

Probable first 11 in my opinion (what I think KB will pick, not necessarily my preferred 11):

GK: Simonsen

RB: Nosy
CB: Ertl
CB: Morgan
LB: Taylor

RM: Ward
CM: Monty
CM: Britton
LM: Yeates

CF: Boggy
CF: Chedders

Hey Roma reading KB's comments on Jean Calve I think he will make the push on him and use him at the RB position, wouldn't surprise me if he use's Nosey at LB (I know that it totally out of position but wouldn't surprise me)

"If we can get the full-back positions right then it gives us so many more options, not just defensively but going forward, too. I want offensive full-backs as much as I can."

Ok, regarding Skype for the exiles...

Lings... there is a mute button that you can use.

Roma... yes I got you Skype id still.

First match of the season is two minutes before the sun rises so I'll be there and online. What will be funny is all the keyboard clacking when something happens as we all got to say something in the CB chat room.
I'm not negative, I'm just not hopeful.

Buggeration. Seems those rumours about Ipswich pulling the plug on Bruce because we were faffing about with payment options might have been true after all.

So this comment by our fearless leader concern anyone?

Blackwell is, however, convinced he has found a gem in the diminutive shape of Britton, a free transfer from Swansea City. The midfielder, who stands at just 5' 6", played just behind Richard Cresswell in a 4-5-1 formation and the United chief said: "We need people who can get on the ball, and he (Britton] makes people play.

"I love watching him play: I have done for many years now, and I can't believe I nicked him for nothing.

"The 4-5-1 is a formation we have used successfully before - I like to play it away from home, to give us a strong defensive base so players can attack from anywhere.
