Kevin Blackwell is forced into making one change to the team that earned a point at QPR last week as Toni Kallio has been recalled by Fulham from his loan spell at The Lane, Andy Taylor slotting in at left back in a 4-5-1 formation.
In front of a lively 1100 or so Blades who have made the trip, United have a great chance in the first minute. Cresswell winning a challenge to put Stewart through on goal but a shot with his weaker right foot goes straight at the Foxes keeper Weale. The Blades are the better team in the opening twenty minutes with no real threat from the home team.
However, Leicester win three corners in quick succession and from one of them and while attempting a clearance, Monty slices a cross towards his own top corner with Bunn making a good save to prevent a spectacular own goal.
Shortly afterwards, City have a big appeal for a penalty turned down after Killa appears to handle in the box. Leicester are the better side by the 25th minute when they go in front. A long range shot from Morrison is brilliantly tipped over by Bunn but from the resulting corner, the keeper completely misses the cross to the back post where MORRISON`s simple header puts the home side one nil up.
With this advantage, City continue to stretch the Blades defence with Taylor getting a rough time from Fryatt who wins a penalty for the home side in the 35th minute by tempting Monty to stick out a leg and trip up the Leicester forward. FRYATT duly picks himself up and sends Bunn the wrong way with the penalty.

There`s still time in the last couple of minutes for Leicester to nearly kill the game off when Wellens shot hits the bar and bounces to safety.
Blackwell must have read the riot act at half-time as unusually, he makes a substitution at the start of the second half. Camara replaces Taylor (cue loud cheers from Blades fans) with Stewart dropping to left back. At last, away from home, The Blades are playing 4-4-2 and get an instant reward by getting a goal back after two minutes. A ball into the box is knocked back into the mix by Quinn and CAMARA slides the ball into the net from six yards out.
Game on. Sadly, Kyle Walker has to leave the field after being the victim of a bad challenge late in the first half and to a massive cheer, Del boy takes the right back spot. In their pressure to get an equaliser, The Blades are in danger of leaving themselves wide open at the back and get caught on the break twice in a number of minutes, Bunn redeeming himself with two great saves to stop the third goal.
This is now a fabulous game with Howard & Fryatt for Leicester and Wardy & Camara running their nuts off for the Red & White Wizards. As a result of some strong Blades pressure, another great chance is created by Ward with a cross to the back post which is met by Morgs` header which goes just the wrong side of the post.
More Blades pressure creates two good chances but both attempts on goal, Cresswells header and a Ched Shot are blocked by their teammates.
Leicester, despite being under pressure for a good deal of the second half hang on to claim the points but The Blades must feel the game was lost late in the first half. Great game but we deserved a point.
A Happy New Year to you all lads from HSBC BLADE and belated birthday wishes to S36. Many happy returns mate.
