First Half:
From the Radio Sheffield Commentary:
United Started sluggishly, with the 1 Change Due to, Alleged, Illness
Coventry using McIndoe tpo exploit Uniteds Obvious Weakest Link, Challenging and Beating Ryan France at Right Back Time and time again. All 3 Goals from the Coventry Prospective coming from Mistakes from the Shakey United Player.
France making only his 5th Appearance in a Blades shirt, Was taken apart early on for McIndoe to send a great cross into the United Box, Walker caught Static as The Lively Best Nodded in from Close Range (12)
1-0 Best (12)
United Rallied led by the Impressive Ward. Everytime the Striker got hold of the ball, The Coventry Gasped at his Direct Ruunning and Threatening Pace
1-1 Ward (31)
The rest of the half was full of Mixed Possesion and silly niggling Mistakes
HT 1-1 Scrappy
Second Half:
No Changes at Half Time But it was the Home side that started the brightest, Ward being the Only real United Player Mentioned as United Defended and Countered. Coventry Didn't take long to take the Lead again, As France messed up a Routine Montgomery Clearance, Virtually passing the ball to Bestg who took the ball, unmarked and unchallenged, Forward, Morgan Came to Challenge but Best Found Morrison with surprising Ease and Morrison Slotted home
2-1 Morrison(50)
Coventry continued in the ascendancy, United being left with nothing going forward. McIndoe again beating France to the byline, but the Make-Shift RB recovered and Conceded a Corner! McIdoe took the Corner and Crainey lost Henderson and headed home Unchallenged
3-1 Crainey(60)
Again United woke up, But after all 3 Substitues were pulled on Quinn, Treacy and Taylor making way for Evans, Cotterill and Stewart Respectively United showed signs of life
3-2 Harper (76)
United continued to pile the pressure on but to no Avail. Several shots from Evans, Ward, Cotterill and Henderson was Defended with worrying ease in the closing Stages
FT 3-2

Walker was bullied by Leon Best throughout the game, and after Best had easily turned Walker on the edge of the box to create a chance, he did exactly the same thing 2 minutes later and buried it.
First 20 minutes was plain aweful!! Quinn forever giving the ball away, Harper invisible, and Treacy not able to beat his man. Eventually we began to get into the game, and Wards goal was a peach of a shot and just reward for a player who gave 100% all night, unlike some of our players who thought they'd have a night offWe finished the half much stronger, but failed to score some easy chances. One from quinn who missed from 4 yards out was just laughable, but we thought it would be a formality to win the game in the 2nd period.
On my way into the lounge for a half time bevvy, I spotted paul Walker/keith Edwards/Seth Bennet sat at the commentry desks, and was able to ask them why Killa was not there? as up to that point we hadn't a clue. They told us he had a chest infection, but that didn't ease our suspicions that he was negotiating a loan deal elsewhere![]()
Coventry kicked off the 2nd half while half the Blades were still in the dressing room, or so it seemed, as once again we looked sloppy early on. Coventry's 2nd goal was keystone cops defending. A high ball looped out to the coventry left should have been attacked and cleared by Ryan (pig fan) France, but instead he backed off and watched Monty struggle to get to it. Monties trusty right foot just deflected the ball into the path of McIndoe who had a clear run down the wing before squaring for Morrison to score. It's commonly known that France is a pig fan! so why the hell is he allowed to wear the red & whiteHe's just not good enough anyway. 3rd goal was a header from a corner or free kick, and again It was poor defending. From then on it was all United, and we did have chances to win the game, but if you conceed 3 soft goals then generally you will lose the game.
Taylor went off with a back injury, but Jordan Stewart fitted in and did a good job. Ched added some running thru the middle, and was unlucky with a strike that just clipped the top of the crossbar. Cotts came on and played some great balls in from the right that we were unfortunate with.
I fear the worse for Friday

So disappointed about last night following a bloody good win and performance on Saturday against the sheepshaggers.
I`m with YouFums on last night. We did nowt until we got level and should have gone into half time in front. Their goal just after half time knocked the D'Urso out of us. Hendo was superb last night in my opinion, as was Wardy although we lacked shape and balance with Killa missing which worried me.
Despite last night, I feel we`ll be celebrating a hog roast on friday night when we beat those blue and white illegitemate people.
