1st 5-10 mins Derby looked more comfortable than us, then we settled into our rythym![]()
Played some good stuff from 10-45, decent chances created but couldn't tell if the dissalowed goal was offside from t'other side of ground![]()
Derby created their only clean cut chance in the 1st half, their bloke lifted his volley over the bar when it seemed easier to score![]()
Bunn,Wardy,Quinny stood out 1st half![]()
1st 15 mins of 2nd half continued in the same vein, then around the 60 min we took a breather & Derby did get on top for a bit, Hendo was knackered also.. They hit the bar with a flukey cross but that was about their only threat of the half. Hendo was replaced by Ched, a few choice words by KB then we were back in the game & Killarose in the box to head a cross goalwards, it took a small deflection but left that useless twat Bywater grasping thin air![]()
1-0 wi 10 mins left there was only gonna be 1 winner

Summary :
Great weather, great (vocal) away following.
D'Urso was D'Urso
Linesmen were D'Urso
No beer at HT![]()
Good all round performance by the Blades
Bunn was outstanding coming from crosses, my M.O.M.
Funniest bit ? Away Blades teking piss outta Derby fans who thought they had scored (was 3 foot wide) by sarcastically "celebrating" a phantom goal every 30 seconds for about 10 mins, priceless (twats at Rad Sheff apparently thought it was a mexican wave, thick lady bits

Followed With YouFUMS Experience:
YouFUMS wrote:Great picture Vamps, and proof that he wasn't off side. Like BobBooker says, it were hard to tell from the opposite end of the ground, but I've watched it a couple of times on the TV, and I can't understand the lino's decision.
Was a great day out yesterday. Managed to squeeze mesen onto the train at Chezzie which was jam packed with Blades and endured a 20 minute ride in a mobile sauna...christ it was hot![]()
A few pints in the Crown and Cushion, and a good old sing song with fellow Blades to get in the mood, and then sloped off just before plod wanted to round everyone up and march us to the ground. Had a another couple with a colleague who is a derby fan at a boozer just across from the station, and then a stroll in the sunshine to the ground.
Blades put on a solid - if not pretty - performance, against a Derby side that rarely threatened, and for me they looked nervous. Treacy started really well down our left and had a couple of good attemps. Down the derby left, a player that I really rate, gary Teale, was kept quiet by Kyle walker who looked every inch a PL player yesterday. Monty and Quinn bossed the centre, and James harper made some simple short passes to get us moving forward. He did look a bit off the pace tho, but hopefully he'll gain an extra yard with a few games under his belt.
Mark Bunn had his best game so far, he came for -and got - every cross that came into the box.
I had a bit of a row at half time in the bogs with a bloke who was slagging hendo off. He was actually comparing hendo with how heskey played for England last week, and saying that neither was good enough because they don't score enough goalsBut then made himself look a fool by saying we should have stuck with Billy Sharp

It was noticable when Hendo was subbed, that the Derby back line breathed a big sigh of relief and seemed to switch off a bit as Ched had loads of room to work in. It would have been a travesty if we hadn't won, cos we were easily the better team. Wardy has to start putting some of these 1 on 1's away tho![]()
Roll on tuesday...A mate has got us some corporate tickets for the Ricoh... ding dang doo
