First Half:

United make no changes after the Excellent win again Reading last time out

West Brom Kick Off and start the brighter keeping possession but failing to break down a Resolute Home Defense, Walker making the Baggies Winger work hard and clearing his lines really well, early on. But for all the Possession, It was Uniteds Front line that threatened with 6 or 7 Chances, before West Brom even fashioned 1 Chance
A Lively Jamie Ward, on the right, Stole off Bednar in the United Half and found Treacy making a run with Henderson Along side Treacy Crossed into a packed Visitors Box only for Hendersons Header to Find Carson with particular Ease Just a Minute Later the Same 2 Players linking well and Making hard work of a good chance, But Again, Carson alert to the Danger. Ward Again Involved, United fashioned a chance for Evans but his Bullet shot flew just wide leaving Carson with a glimpse of it as it passed him Ward getting involved a couple of minutes later, with his own Shot which was weak and Cleared to The Baggies Midfield. Kilgallon also shooting High from Treacy Knock Back, before the Visitors started to press
Entertaining and Problematic Passing from both sides Marred good first Half performances from both sides, Th referee happy to mostly let the game go on.
At the Half Hour, The Baggies Fans finally got a cheer, Bednar fashioning a good shot from a long punt from Carson which made Bunn work to knock the ball wide. But it was Walker who was on song at the Back for the Hosts Morgan and Kilgallon failing to clear their lines time and time again, Kilgallon probably being the most guilty of Por Defending at Times, but also making Timely Tackles to release Hard Working Montgomery and Quinn The First Half belonged to United, but the Possession at 36:64 was a talking point as United Led on Chances come the Half Time Whistle 7(5):2(1)
The Baggies in Truth were the better footballing side, but conceded way too many free kicks and Dead balls in there own half to really get any rhythm, United using this to their Advantage Treacy being the most profitable, as this was his game!
1 Minute of added time failed to carve out any chances as the Home Fans Clapped off the Good Blades Performance

No Half time Substitutions
United kicked off and started the Brighter, forcing a Save from Quins low drive! Ward again was instrumental down the right constantly causing havoc to Cech and Koren. But the Second half wasn't even ten minutes old when the first Defense was Breached. Cummings making light work of turning Taylor and sent a Great Cross for an Unmarked BEDNAR to to simply nod past Bunn

United are not a side to let a team take Points from Bramall Lane, and quickly sprang into life. Ward, Again, finding space down the Right, from a Great pass from Treacy, Sending a great Low Cross into the Path of EVANS with Henderson Making sure it went over the line

But West Brom again took the lead just 4 Minutes later, A Carson free-kick, Long and over the top, found BEDNAR after he lost Taylor and He Controls well before sending a low shot past Bunn

West Brom Kept good possession after the Second goal as things were beginning to settle down after the Excitement, then the Away Side gave away their dominence for Stupid Niggling Fouls which evidently Cost them the 3 Points Bookings for at least 3 Baggies Players playing the Part in their Demise.
Just Minutes later, United thought they had a second Equaliser. Treacy's great Cros is nodded on by Henderson but as the ball was sailing wide, Ward raced through the Defense and trned the ball home, Only for the Lines Man to flag for Off-Side
Substitutes Cotterill (for Treacy(70)) and Reid (for Evans(79)) sparked a United on-slaught on the Baggies Defense, Cotterill being the most threatening turning the Left Bak time amd time again, only for United to be left wanting in the Middle, Reid, also still trying to find form since arriving at Bramall Lane, had a hand in Finding Ward and the little Strikers Crosswas cut out well by Carson
The United Faithful wee grtowing impatient as the time ticked away, Henderson being Batted by the Visitors defense but decisions going against the Big Striker, Only when the Referee finaly Booked the United Striker did he Receive a decision in his favour
Cotterill sending a great ball in from the Right, Henderson Getting in the way of a Shot from Reid, but followed the loose ball only to be bundled over, in the Area, by Martis
COTTERILL stands up and Keeps his 100% record with a well drill Penalty in the 88th Minute

5 minutes of added time was indicated and that Brought another Substitution from Kevin Blackwell, Howard on for Ward, Meant United were Shoring up and Hitting on the break, But it was the Visitors who had the Last Chance, Taylor conceding the Free Kick just outside the Blades Box United Fans had the hearts in their Mouths and gave a Loud Sigh of relief as the ball flew well over the bar

Bunn 7 Average game, He couldn't do owt about those 2 goals
Walker 7 Didn't get forward as much as he usually does.
Morgan 7 another average performance
Kilgallon 5 At fault for both WBA goals. Bednar got away from him for a free header on the 1st, then the 2nd one was just piss poor defending.
Taylor 7 Settling down well at this level, and i think he'll get even better.
Ward(90) 8 Moving position upset his flow, but he was a threat for most of the game
Montgomery 7 steady job
Quinn 7 He and Monty bossed the midfield, especially 1st half
Treacy(70) 8 excites the crowd
Evans (79) 7 I still think he needs to play closer to Hendo
Henderson 8 Played 90 minutes against a CB that was all over him and a blind referee
Cotterill(70) 7.5 had the WB left back chasing shadows
Reid(79) 7 Needs to be more direct with his runs
Howard(90) not going to rate - pointless substitution.

i thought squinny was excellent treacy i dont think is match fit but taylor had a bad game and walker was below par. bunn worries me when he leaves the goal but all in all i think 2pts lost because we were the better saying that bednar is very cute with the ref.
