  • The Crossed Blades Curry Club
    Well even if the Donny game wasn't the most enthralling of encounters a great night was had by those in attendance when we went for a curry afterwards.

    The usual drunken ramblings of a bunch of blokes supping beer and eating curry ensued with conversation from everything from the stock market to of course the mighty red and white wizzards - which led to more beer with us wanting to drown our sorrows after watching the performance we'd just seen. The Curry of course cleansed our souls and meant we could see clearly again and the one thing we were all unanimous about - the curry nights MUST continue.

    Hence forth the Crossed Blades Curry Club was born..........Tuesday night matches will never be the same again!! The plan is very simple - a few beers before the match, meet up in the Moorfoot straight after the match for another beer and then on for a curry (and a few more beers). The last couple of times we've been finished for around 11.30 so it doesn't make you too late for work the next day either. Good food, good company and great banter, with a Blades match thrown in for good measure........what more could you want?

    Threads will be listed in here for forthcoming events and if you fancy one that isn't listed - then feel free to start your own thread.
