Time for the inoculations and a trip to Dingleland
« on: October 28, 2015, 01:41:02 pm »
Anyone up for a CB trip to the Dingles?

http://www.sufc.co.uk/news/article/sheffield-united-barnsley-away-tickets-2297347.aspx

I need to just double check calendars etc but assuming I can make it then I'm happy to co-ordinate a group purchase of tickets if there's enough wanting to go. Likely to fetch them on the 18th Nov to give you some time to think about it.

OK - scratch that - looks like I have had plans made for me on the 28th (one day I'll learn not to tell head office about the dates of home games.............) so may need to earn some extra brownie points bloody quickly to re-arrange things before I can commit to going.............

Good news - gave got a pass

Bad news - do I want to be part of those fans again? Surely for a derby game they won't be the same.....

Sooo - boys who did Dingleland last season - what's the best bet itinerary wise in terms of Spoons brekkie and train?

Which Spoons? What time train? Anyone care to volunteer to get tickets or just buy on the day?

Spoons Eccy Road for 9am (they don't serve ale before then). Taxi to station at 11ish for 11.18am train to Dingleville which gets in at 11.40, queue for piss at station (or use the girls room) before a short stroll up to Oakwell. After match, if last year is anything to go by, find a taxi to bring us home (via the Sheffield Tap)  :ok:
