Yeah a great move for him. I liked him more than most and thought in general he was a good defender and didn't deserve the treatment he got from Clough. Hope he does well over there.

Not happy about this, in the summer fair enough but for me a bad move for us now! thought originally he was a bad signing by Adams but grew to like him. Good luck to him and TBH I can't blame him for wanting out.

I'm not sure he wanted out - more a case of he wasn't going to get a new contract. Releases his wages now and in fairness with what we've signed he's not going to get in the side, and we're not gonna need him for the run in - in my view Adkins has also given up on this season and is experimenting with how he wants the side to play now (3,5,2)

US football season is only just starting now so it gives him chance to get in with his new side at the start of their season.

Good luck to him I say.

I wish him good luck as well.

200 games for a club these days shows loyalty. I think he has seen the writing on the wall, and this is too good an opportunity to turn down. Weather isn't bad in Tampa either.

Note that their League starts in April too, so from Tampa's point of view it was probably now or they offer it somebody else.

US transfer window closes end March, hence the rush.

Another large wage struck off.

To be honest, I wouldn't grumble too much if any of the current squad were asked to leave.  Even less grumbling if McCabe or HRH were asked to leave...
