Evans Confirmed as returned. Still don't think any good will come of this. Never go backwards and after his last Season at this Level. He was bloody poor.
I couldn't care less about his wasted years, that's gone. He was Shite last time, Shite Last Season so diesn't deserve this chance. But I'm happy to proved wrong :ok:

In other news, maybe for Vamps, Lings etc. WESTFIELD upper is now a Season Ticket Zone. Fancy a move up there anyone?

Been a while.

Hello all, as the usual know, I was there again yesterday and walked out happy with the draw.
Lets take nothing away from Scunny here. They created little but made their chances memorable. Hitting the Bar and the Post and scoring 1 and forcing Moore into a very good save too.

That Morris kid certainly knew he gad a game after being done by Freeman time and time again.

I'm hoping Hansen going off was precautionary as the Scunny defence breathed a sigh of relief on his exit. Not sure changing him for Lavery was the best option though.
The front lads are worrying me tbh. Plenty is being created but they aren't clinical enough. And don't get me started on playing against 10 men. We just can't do it for some reason.

Overall, a point against second who also happens to be a perenial bogey team is nothing to be disappointed about.
Bring on next week..... of which I can't get to. Gutted about that too!!

Think I might go to Rochdale though.

We'll go up no 2 ways about that, I'd prefer to secure it and the Champions birth before MK Dons, but we'll see

Nah, the Handsworth Lads mainly. They tend to know either way what's happening.

Morning Everyone and thank you for the Bidet wishes.

Pre-Match today will have to be Spoons on Eccy cause Zach's a stubborn bugger and will only get face on if we go somewhere else so will probably see you at the game as usual.

Big game today and will have to find our seats out again as it looks like it's nearly sold out again. Could go Top if we win with Scunny battling it out with Bolton today too.

Then the JTW... lots of speculation on you know who from basically idiots but from thise who I know have inside info say not a chance he's coming back.

I would like to see that Omar Bogle brought in, that tricky winger at Chezzy, Biriyani I think his name is and the EEL on a Permanent. Wishful thinking imo

Anyway, see you all in a bit then.

I believe the deal's done Roma

To be honest, the lad might become an excellent midfielder but I haven't been entirely convinced when watching him that he's anything approaching the real deal, and CW has had him at Northampton and claimed he wasn't yet ready for 1st team football in L1, let alone the PL.

On that basis, £1m upfront would be a huge help towards the overall transfer budget and the add-ons will be significant. I know we want to develop players from the academy but I'm really not too upset by the sale, for £1m+++ of an unproven player who's had 11 games for us.

I hope he does really well and proves me totally wrong as he seems a top lad.

And that was pretty much my response on What's App today as well.......

Believe we've also signed a CB today - James Wilson (was at Oldham but turned down a new contract) - signed on a free - 2.5 year deal

2.5 year deal? does his contract run out in January then? Not sure how that works.

 :-\

Naughty!!!

I don't post much but I do read tha-knows.

I didn't go today because of Sea Cadets etc but overall I'm happy with what I've read and also seen coming through the door at BDTBL.

DCL hasn't been confirmed as gone yet but he did have a medical at Everton last week.
From what I can gather, the Prem teams in the JPT are assembling young squads to compete in that cup..... this might be the reason for the delay as I know he was relishing the thought of playing in the First Team in his preferred and Natural role he grew up in (D/CM). Having talked to him at Sports Day the other week at school, he was delighted Tufty got the job and was looking forward to pre-season. That was the day before they were all due to report back though.

I'm really looking forward to the new season now too. I don't think we need much more signings. more gelling and fitness for me. Although I won't complain if Clarke and Killa do sign this week  ;)

I do feel that Adams will be gone by TDD though but I think w are equipped this time.

anyway, off to a wedding in Oughtibridge... laters fellas

Although I spent most of the day doing what Vamps does regularly yesterday, I made it back to watch the Snort-beasts match and have to say they were poor. They played like they didn't give a toss throughout.

Bruce certainly had the measure of them and had it not been for Westwood they would have been dead and buried by half time  :cheer:

The better team won at Wembley, for a change. Same with today. Dingles won and deserved it too. However looking at it from our perspective, we have no big gate games next season now.
No one who came down are anywhere near us and our nearest away game is Chesterfield. Granted it's just outside Dronny but they don't travel do they. So, that's revenue down from the start. After that, is it Port Vale that's closest to us?

Haven't posted for a while, I have trouble posting from my phone. Tried a few times, 1 being Billy Sharp's response to a Piggy bantering him about his 6 awards he won this season.... The idiot saying he could count on 1 hand his nonsense accolades... Billy's response was brilliant, letting him know Billy had 5 fingers on 1 hand so maybe he should disappear back into South Barnsley with his 6 fingers  :DD :DD :DD :DD (Not specific with the wording).
But on my Lap-top tonight so catching up.

On the released list.
Brutal but fair for me. Hammond has seriously pissed me off with his activation of the contract and basically told he's not wanted by Tufty so placed straight on the transfer list.
A little surprised Diego finds himself on there also but haven't watched him for a while. Apparently he has his magic back to some but we'll see. Monty was Transfer listed for 3 years before he went and we loved him, most of us wish he was here still now tbf.
Now to get out J.Wallace and the other injured crap.

Seems the Lap of Honour was a bit of a wash out and some of the players that received boos from whoever was keft in the Stadium did themselves no favours by throwing rods at the fans.

It was very poor though. Second best throughout.
From what I'm hearing, he was told to give the kids a run out today but refused to at the 11th hour. Choosing all his signings over them.

Hammond and Woolford received boos throughout and even more vociferously when Subbed off. Frankly, I don't think Adkins will last the week after that, if rumours are to be believed too.

The Crowd Sang "Sack The Board", "McCabe Out", "you're getting sacked in the morning", A new "Bullshit, Lies And Deceit Every Season" song which I found comical and from what I've heard McCabe texted like mad before leaving the match early during and in the after math of all these chants. Apparently he also told some fans he was furious with the performance of the Players and he wasn't going to stand for it.

Overall, sun drenched Bramall Lane was a shyte place to be yesterday and I wished I'd stayed in the Pub.

Ok matey. Enjoy pal.

Now then, not sure what's been happening but struggled to post over last few days.

I was going to say about McCabe's rant at the forum over being Glad we aren't Leicester and Southampton and the Route they took out of League 1..... like no one wants to be Leicester or Southampton right now. I'd gladly take that option to get shut of McCabe tbh.

Never have I known a Businessman rely on "Luck" to run his business. If a Director of a Company had mismanaged a Club as badly as McCabe over 10 years the customers and Club Employees would be asking questions and running them out of it. Sadly, there are far too many people saying he's our saviour from a Gesture anyone with any financial clout could have done 20 years ago. We are stuck with him as yet another ludicrous decision is passed without question.

Scott McCabe, a man who's never played football, Managed a Football Team or had anything to do with football other than the odd job at Daddy's Pet Hobby is to head up the Technical Biard wjo devide who we buy, sell and develope. Like there's no conflict of interest there and who has even less footballing Knowledge than his Daddy. You just couldn't make it up at all.
I predict now, we will not get out of this League in the right direction under the Leadership of McCabe and Sons whilever they are at the Club and Controling the Club.

Blind Hatred or seeing something that doesn't look or feel right.... you decide!!
